In addition, we have prevailed in an interlocutory review proceeding
before the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals regarding the standing of a
patent licensee to pursue a patent infringement action; in a trademark and
anti-trust appeal involving the Newport Beach Marina before the California
Court of Appeal; an important free speech matter in the California Court of
Appeal on behalf of a well-known media personality; a dispute between a real
estate broker and a property-management company contracted by the United
States government over whether federal regulations allowed the company to
change its sales procedures; a business dispute where the California Court
of Appeal agreed to reverse a seven-figure lost profits award.
